In January 2010 I travelled to Prague to improve my understanding of the stop motion animation technique, and to experience more of the Czech animation tradition for myself. I felt that I wanted to learn more, and to improve my skills as an animator. It was a great chance for me to put into practice all the skills I had learnt within my years of studying, from working within a professional studio environment and team work, to my animation skills in general. I met many professional animators and directors while working within Hafan animation studio, whose work and love for the art has influenced and inspired me further to work within the stop motion industry.
